aah [contemporary] identity 2009

An identity proposal for the Department of Art & Art History at the University of Connecticut as well as four applications of the identity: a stationary set, exterior building sign, classroom label, and personal notebook. This contemporary identity uses different typefaces to distinguish the unique personalities of each department: the first A is set in Eurostile, a sans-serif modern typeface, and the AH is in Berthold Bodoni, a timeless typeface with serifs. Color and a uniform alteration of the typefaces tie the two departments together.
